About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Account Manager with extensive business-to-business (B2B) sales or account management experience to strengthen and expand relationships with our existing commercial clients. This role is focused on client retention, revenue growth, and increasing customer satisfaction by ensuring our services align with their operational needs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing B2B accounts, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Responsibilities


  • Develop and Maintain Client Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.

  • Increase Revenue & Service Adoption: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding each client’s operational challenges and recommending tailored service solutions.

  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Proactively engage with customers to address concerns, ensure service quality, and provide a high-touch client experience.

  • Strategic Account Planning: Regularly analyze account performance and develop strategies to maximize profitability while delivering value to the customer.

  • B2B Sales & Negotiation: Manage contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and service agreements to align with both client needs and business objectives.

  • Collaboration & Coordination: Work closely with service teams, technicians, and leadership to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of client issues.

  • Reporting & Performance Tracking: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and account growth using CRM tools.



Qualifications


  • Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in B2B account management or sales, preferably within the commercial services industry.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of service agreements, commercial maintenance contracts, and operational needs of commercial facilities.

  • Sales & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to close deals, drive revenue growth, and retain key accounts through consultative sales strategies.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering exceptional client experiences and proactively solving issues.

  • Technical & CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales-related tools to track client interactions and sales performance.

  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Excellent ability to communicate value propositions, handle objections, and develop customized solutions for clients.
